New Found Research and Statistics
After doing some research I discovered many interesting things between college students across the country. These facts actually have a lot to do with stress levels students may feel. Also its important to know about this things whether you just starting applying to college or have been attending college for some time.
1. 86.9 percent of freshmen expected to complete their degrees in four years or fewer.
Wow, that seems a little high? Right? No this is totally do able especially when you attend challenging universities without this so called "grade inflation". In fact graduating in four years is too long these days! Try 3!
2. Of the 2,350,000 college students enrolling per year, only 1,750,000 will graduate.
About 25% of you won't make, maybe should pack of your things early and give up! Besides college is hard and time consuming. You could be just be flipping burgers instead of flipping burgers and pretending to go to class!
3. The average college student’s debt is $23,700; the average student loan payment is $432 per month.
Imagine graduating with large amount of debt like this! You could buy a car, buy over 40,000 donuts, or actually live in Thailand for 2 years believe it or not.
4.The average college student attends 62 parties a year.
That is actually bigger than I expected, but college is about crazy frat parties. Go party it's a good way to stay healthy!
5.Don't let books get in the way of your education!
This line actually comes from my doctor, this is what he told me before I went off to college!
